We took a cue from the island's ravines — those quiet, tucked-away corridors that invite you to slow down — when we thought about what this space should feel like. Not a patio. More like a clearing.

Bainbridge Island has a long tradition of civic gathering — from the Suquamish people who inhabited these shores for thousands of years, to the strawberry farms and canneries that defined the early 20th century, to the tight-knit ferry community that exists today.
Winslow Way has been the civic heart of Bainbridge for over a century. The Courtyard is our small addition to that — a place where you can eat well, stay a moment, and feel at home.
